Just a shed plan?
I was browsing the web looking for a shed plan as the basis for all future
woodworking and other projects, somewhere to store my tools and work from. I found many sites offering shed
plans, some of them appeared to be really good others, not so
much.
I spent quite a bit of time over a few evenings looking at their web pages and I
think I've decided on which one I'll buy, it's called Woodworking 4 Home as
it seems to me to offer the most and be the most professionally put together.

Click one of the links and you'll see just why I felt I had to become an affiliate
for this, the site is well put together and presented. The guy behind
it, John Metz, is a professional woodworker after all! However, don't
let that put you off if you're just a novice. His shed plans (and others, more on that later) are geared
up for both newbie and experienced woodworker alike.
John can cater for both the novice and
experienced person because he's been there him self, he tells of a 4 month battle with his first ever decking
project which ended in disaster so there's no need to feel intimidated by his 20 years experience if you're just
new to all this as he still remembers what it's like when you don't have that level of experience. However,
you can feel encouraged and that you're in safe hands because he does now have 20 years experience with every
project imaginable!
His plans are all very clear and completely step-by-step. He doesn't do what
some do and leave that crucial little thing out so you end up half way through the project with something that
looks nothing like what it's supposed to and no idea how to finish it.
While I was looking for a shed plan when I came across this site this site is actually not just about shed plans although there are
many included in this product. This is a pretty comprihensive projects "bible" with 14,000 plans and
projects in it. Once you have your workshop shed do you need a dog house, rabbit hutch, deck or even hot
tub deck? Woodworking4Home has them all and a whole lot more. Not all outdoor items either, ever
wanted a butler's tray table?
They're designed to not only be easy to follow but also not cost the earth to
make. There are manuals you
can print out and video tutorials. There are guides on how to use various tools as well as how to build the
projects so this really does cater for the complete newbie.
I think this is well worth checking out at very leased and I don't think
I've seen a better value project plans site on the web to date. Talking of
dates, on his site he says that the price is going to go up soon so I think it behoves us both to
get on over there and make that purchase!
